Starting your story.......

A great story has a great start......

Just pick up any book and have a look at the first line or paragraph. Some writers know exactly how their story is going to work and have planned out the journey. Other writers let the story flow with their thoughts. But all writers want to start their story with a good line as it is in this line that their ideas can start to flow....
How to work together
Sharing your ideas and taking the story forward......

The great idea about this site is the ability for people to take stories in directions that others would not have thought of. It allows us all to look at each others unique abilities to think and structure and move forward with ideas.

There are also times when you write that you just hit a block and can't work out a way forward. Eventually, writers do find a way forward, but this site enables you to see what others can see and opens your mind up to options and choices in your writing that will help whenever you decide to write that big story on your own.
The chilly side of stories

From Hansel and Gretal to The Walking Dead

Scary stories have been around for as long as people could tell stories. Explorers told of mythical beasts and people often try to out-scare each other with horrific tales. Mention on the Brothers Grimm is a good starting point as, although their stories are aimed at young readers, they never avoid scary and sinister details and their stories paint vivid and sharp pictures in the readers mind.

Let the ghosts, zombies and vampires awaken....
